Demand for Bluetooth® Headphones/Earbuds/Speakers

Music to the Ears!

The interest in all things Bluetooth®—wireless ear buds, headphones, and speakers—has never been higher. Consumers seek multiple ways to play their music without having a physical connection to these devices. They also want the highest quality sound, a sophisticated look, and something that is multifunctional.

Joshua Pospisil at KTI Promo notes that interest in true wireless earbuds is skyrocketing. “There’s also a higher interest in Bluetooth® speakers that are as small as possible but still pack a big punch of sound,” he elaborates. “As we are on the go more and more these days the need for less wires is more important than ever—which is what is driving the surge in popularity in the true wireless earbuds such as our Air-Buds.

“Also, with surge in all things wireless, Bluetooth® speakers have seen a particular hike in popularity as people want to be able to play music on various speakers without physically being connected to them, and being able to wirelessly change the music from their phone,” Pospisil continues. “Customers are also wanting a big sound from a speaker that is as small as we can get them, such as our Boom wireless speaker and our Boom mini wireless speaker.”

In agreement is Athena Promo’s Steve Davis. “Bluetooth® audio products are hotter than ever,” he comments. “The proliferation of mobile devices is the ongoing driver of demand. People love to listen to their favorite music, news, podcasts, and audiobooks wherever they are.” 

KTI Promo’s best seller is the company’s Air-Buds. “These things are flying off the shelf and people absolutely love them,” Pospisil raves. He points out that these wireless earbuds are the new trend. There is no cord connecting each earpiece together, so they can be used one at a time or together. One person can pair one earbud with his or her phone—freeing up the other one for a different user and phone. Available in white, the Air-Buds come with a charging case.

Additional best sellers are the company’s Boom wireless speakers and Boom Mini wireless speaker. “These speakers are tiny and aluminum and pack a huge punch of sound with great bass quality,” Pospisil says. They are available in black, blue, pink, and silver—and include a lanyard that can attach to a bag, keys, and more. The Bluetooth® range is up to 33 feet; and the battery life is up to three hours.

Over at Athena Promo, Davis says its new Bluetooth® earbuds are especially popular. “We offer lots of choices that are a great value,” he states.

A wireless Bluetooth® water bottle is new from AdNArt. The Asobu Wireless Beat Bottle BT60 features a double wall, vacuum-insulated, copper-lined 18/8 stainless steel body. The bottle styled body has the speaker on the top of the bottle instead of underneath which is helps make the speaker sound better. The bottle also sets up easily to a cell phone and recharges in about an hour. The lid also contains an IPX4 waterproof speaker. Additionally, liquids stay hot up to 12 hours and cold up to 24 hours. The Asobu bottle is available in black, burgundy, teal, and white.

Knowing how these devices operate is key to selling them, according to Davis of Athena Promo. “As long as you understand how they work and can share your enthusiasm for the products, you will sell successfully,” he shares. “People love wireless Bluetooth® audio devices and they virtually sell themselves. If you share your own personal experiences with Bluetooth® accessories, that will help you connect with the customer as well.”

KTI Promo’s Pospisil expands on Davis’s sentiments. “Really, it is just educating people the need for pushing as much tech related items as possible,” he concludes. “The need for tech products is only going to keep growing, so it is best to get people on the tech train as quick as we can, so they are not left standing alone at the station.”
